No. All barcode generation and scanning is performed entirely on-device. No internet connection is required, and no barcode data is ever uploaded to any server.
Which barcode formats are supported?
VectorBarcode supports EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, Code 39, Code 128, ITF-14, QR Code, DataMatrix, and PDF417.
What export formats are available?
Free users can export PNG at 300 DPI. Pro users unlock vector SVG and EPS, plus PDF, and PNG at 600 or 1200 DPI — all print-ready.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
The free version lets you generate single barcodes and export PNG. Pro unlocks batch/CSV generation, unlimited history and favorites, SVG/EPS/PDF export, higher DPI PNG, ZIP batch export, and print label workflows.
Is the Pro upgrade a one-time purchase or a subscription?
Pro is $2.99/month. You can cancel anytime from your app store account.
Does VectorBarcode guarantee standard barcode compliance for production use?
